Ingredients
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 can chickpeas, rinsed, drained and allowed to dry on paper towels until no longer dripping water
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
salt and pepper
Directions
Allow oil to heat in shallow pan on stove until hot. Please have a lid for the pot handy to cover if/when the chickpeas begin to "pop." Gently and carefully add chickpeas to oil, and sprinkle the spices over them. Stir constantly over moderate heat for 5-7 minutes until chickpeas are beginning to split or pop. Serve hot over salads, bowls, or as a snack all by themselves.
